The Ministry of the Interior has warned of the detection of a website in the dark area of the internet ( darknet ) where the fraudulent sale of a supposed vaccine against Covid-19 could be taking place, whose doses would be sold at 0.01239 bitcoins, about 110 euros, although there is no evidence that any transaction was made.
According to Interior in a statement, it is a portal called Coronavirus Vaccine located on an independent network of the Internet that is not indexed by conventional browsers and can only be accessed through specific software for connection and navigation, in this case the TOR browser.
The verifications of the experts from the Special Data Cyber Coordination Office confirm, according to the Interior, that at the moment this portal has not carried out any transaction.

Since the declaration of the pandemic, experts from the Cyber Coordination Office have detected a significant increase in allegedly criminal activity related to the health alert, mainly in said dark area of the network that is accessed only through that specific software.
The trade in fraudulent health products related to the virus has been, Interior explains, the main object of these alleged illicit activities.
In its statement, the Ministry cites several sites that allegedly traded in medical supplies, such as Agartha Underground Oasis or The Coronavirus Epidemic , the latter focused on masks for professional use. In both cases, the material offered "had eluded all official control and approval measures to verify its safety and effectiveness."
