In order to become independent and rise professionally, the young protagonist of the narrative continues in search of his goals on a journey marked by depressive moments, taciturn by time and by the facts that unfold throughout the character's journey, through the waters of the river Envira/AC. Throughout this section, we also highlight the process of transformation that the young teacher undergoes when he Phone Number Data discovers that he has his own will. At first, he becomes involved with a young woman called Rebeca, which happens at a time when the young man finds himself in a state of melancholy as he misses his family, as well as adapting to his new routine. In a second moment, Pedro falls in love with a young man of the same sex, Henrique, at which time a process of inner conflict arises in Pedro's life when accepting or not accepting his feelings for Henrique. The young teacher seeks to circumvent this feeling due to the fear and discrimination he could face because of this feeling. It is important to highlight that becoming a teacher requires, in addition to repeating educational practices, planning, studies, creativity and dedication in order to lead the student to critical thinking. Despite being very young, Pedro is dedicated to this profession. The relationship established with students in the community went beyond the walls of the classroom, a preponderant factor for this. We highlight the fact that the school is located in a small community, in a rural area, where emotional ties become much easier to establish. built since everyone practically experiences the same routines and the same leisure moments, and this friendly relationship was maintained not only with their students, but also with their families.

In the third section, we will discuss Pedro's acceptance of his homosexual identity. It is known that the formation of a subject's identity in general is always in the process of construction, depending on the dynamics of social relations. In a process of identity fragmentation, changes occur gradually depending on the group in which the individual is inserted. We highlight in the work Pedro's reluctance to accept himself as a homosexual, and this is justifiable because we are rooted in a society, which despite bringing discussions related to gay causes, prejudice and discrimination still prevail. Despite this reluctance, the love they both felt was strong enough to accept each other and live unforgettable moments, to the point of considering the possibility of leaving Seringal together and facing any feelings of prejudice, however this was not possible due to the tragedy that devastated the lovers of our romance.
